Feed Love With Music: Written Originally by Jennifer Soh Li Wen, 13th July 2011, Wednesday, 5:18 p.m.-5:46 p.m.
A normal teenager,
Simply thirteen or fourteen;
She hides herself from danger,
She is careful when being seen.
She goes to school daily,
A smart girl is she;
She does her homework diligently,
She is a successful person to be.
She has many friends in school,
From first class to the last;
She meets this boy so cool,
But his brain doesn’t move that fast.
It could just be a puppy love,
Or some call is as monkey love;
They get to meet in school,
It is their best pool.
His name is pretty similar to hers,
That is why she remembers him;
They aren’t sure whether they’re friends,
As they don’t get to have long chats.
One afternoon,
She was walking with her mother;
He walked passed by them two,
Along the walkway of shop houses.
Both kept walking,
As if they didn’t see;
She thought she had to look back,
He did the same and their eyes met.
They smiled,
Just for that moment;
They were on the same path,
But their directions were different.
After about a decade,
She still thinks of him;
She feeds her hidden love with music,
Accepting his appearance as her dream.
