A Token of Love: Written originally by Jennifer Soh Li Wen, 25th April 2013, Thursday, 8:23 p.m.-8:45 p.m., In my own room at home, Kuala Lumpur
A call yesterday,
A confirmation today;
Punctuality of say,
A package of ray,
A name I repay,
My identity the way;
I hope not for a decay,
I wasn't at a good bay,
Hope I did okay,
I wish not for delay;
My handwriting a nay,
Please make it a yay,
My headache,
Please don't turn it a heartache;
Make no mistake,
That's what I partake,
But why is it still in my head?
After so many hours of break?
My own world of wrong,
I must stand up strong,
Step it to the floor,
Be cheerful once more;
I ask for no return,
Don't have to bring me to Saturn,
I just need confidence,
To face resistance;
I apologize for my brainless,
I wonder what is making me so,
I wasn't like that years ago,
I so enjoyed tango;
Maybe I need a sleep overdose,
But I don't want a dream of fire of those,
In my real life,
I received a token of love;
Also a thoughtful word gesture,
I need freedom yet no longer in closure.
