Rhythm

Rhythm: Written Originally by Jennifer Soh Li Wen, 17th September 2011, Saturday, Idea: 8:14 p.m., Started Writing from 9:36 p.m. to 9:54 p.m. (Plus Some Extra Unplanned Time)

Hey, Rhythm,
You know I love you;
I love you,
Yes, I do.

Hey, Rhythm,
You make me breathless;
Nothing is worthless,
You make my life anew.

Without you, Rhythm,
My days will be breathless;
They will be worthless,
There’s nothing new.

Because of you, Rhythm,
I got back to my passion;
I don’t have to question,
I just love what I do and it has got to have you.

Yo, Rhythm,
Why are you that special?
Without you, there’s no rhythm,
There’s no sequel.

Hey, Rhythm,
I want you in my mind, yeah;
You don’t have to be scared,
You’re helping me, yeah.

Finally, Rhythm,
You aren’t like Theorem;
You aren’t like Phantom,
You’re just pure Rhythm,
You’re just your rhythm,
It’s just you and your rhythm, yeah;
Connecting with your people,
Words start linking to ya, yeah.

So, thank you, Rhythm,
You make me wonder;
I like to ponder,
Just thinking of you, Rhythm.

I need you, Rhythm,
Don’t go, Rhythm;
Come back anytime you want, Rhythm,
I’ll be waiting for you, Rhythm.

A poem,
Needs you, Rhythm;
A poet,
Fell deeply in love with you, Rhythm.

Oh yes, we feel you,
We wanna touch you;
We’re gonna work you,
But not to fool you.

Come near, Rhythm,
Just talk to me, Rhythm;
Fill me with words, Rhythm,
I want you forever, Rhythm.

Just stay with me,
I’ll give you everything;
I’ll make you pretty,
You won’t lose a thing.

Just follow me,
Everywhere I’ll be;
Be there inside me,
I’ll carry you wherever I’ll be.

Give me wisdom,
You’re the mighty Rhythm;
I love you, Rhythm,
I’m your best friend, not Madam.

I need not worry,
Because I know you’re in me;
This blood I have in me,
Breathes you like a sanctuary.

I know you’ll never go away, Rhythm,
Don’t leave me, Rhythm;
We’re so happy together,
Let’s live happily ever after.

Gotta go, Rhythm,
Gotta write something different;
But be with me still, Rhythm,
Truly, all is yours, only for your entertainment.

Inhibition

Inhibition:
Written Originally by Jennifer Soh Li Wen, Idea: 11th September 2011, Sunday (10:35 p.m.), Started Writing on 13th September 2011, Tuesday from 9:55 p.m.-11:00 p.m. (Plus some extra time)

Could it be a silly question?
If I start to question;
About the purpose of religion,
Across region to region?

It bothers my affection,
Makes me forget confession;
Makes me defend rejection,
I’ve no selection.

Is religion a misconception?
It really makes me question;
Can I make an assumption?
That religion and love have no connection?

That is definitely one bad supposition,
Don’t be mistaken as I love my religion;
I just need to find a correction and solution,
Of what actually creates the tension?

Religion makes me a person of aggression,
Everything is an inhibition and a prohibition;
Even though there’s a passion,
We know it’s impossible by religion’s intuition.

How can I make a progression?
Since everything is an explosion;
There can be no admission,
Of love’s both mission and vision.

We humans have too much attention,
We’re blinded by rules and regulation;
Makes us weak and meek in motion,
When it comes to love’s devotion.

Accepting love is exhaustion,
If there’s a difference in religion;
Same goes to trend and fashion,
We don’t portray the same characterization.

I want to experience satisfaction,
But I always face devastation;
It feels like love colonization,
Religion is the biggest rationalization portion.

Religion has created a borderline for my generation,
I can’t smile and bloom like carnation;
I’ve been advised not to neglect education,
But I also need to find a good man before revelation.

I want to make a declaration,
I want to experience resurrection;
My heartbeat will have resumption,
I want to live anew after resuscitation.

I want to make a revolution,
Or an evolution;
I need redemption,
For I can’t breathe in this love-religion collaboration.

My conversation with him is like a collision,
We ended up having bad communication;
It’s not the heart but about religion,
Love can’t even be at least a coalition.

Love expressed carried agitation,
In me with most appreciation;
But it happens in repeating position,
I had to spend time in cogitation.

I just hope for a better nation,
But if everything is based on religion;
We don’t get to see a colorful congregation,
We only get to see God’s original creation.

I’ve no idea where is my love destination,
For the bees that came surely have received refutation;
I just hope I’ll not take another action,
I don’t want to meet the same type, mind, condition, and situation.

I need to be clear about the orientation,
Of the meaning of love sensation;
One must not be a possession,
One chosen is the vital character in love formation.

Why in the middle there’s always a religion?
Why do I always make it as my motivation?
Why can’t I first enjoy affection?
Why must love be a caution-precaution?

I’m no perfection,
I’m just asking question after question;
I’m not saying there’s no good in religion,
It’s another matter if we fall into temptation.

Till today no bee has got the exception,
By me; who always makes the elimination;
I think they need to know that my heart, too, enters desolation,
I seriously wish déjà vu, please, don’t put me in isolation.

I’m sick and tired of doing declination,
I need a break from taking that exploitation;
I hope that there’s one near future bee that’ll be my affection,
Bring me honey and please save me from this sweet-bitter emotion.

Can someone give me a confirmation?
On at least some information;
In my head, there’s a commotion,
God is still my commendation.

When love experienced contradiction,
Should I do any love commemoration?
Honestly, I did feel commiseration,
Love doesn’t come with commission.

I finally came into a realization,
That life isn’t up to our decision;
Every single step needs specification,
I’m not asking for any compensation.

God determines our intention,
We ought to live in harmonization;
I apologize for this is my religion,
It isn’t a mere fiction.

Happiness resolution,
From God to every of His creation;
Everyone has their own personification,
It’s up to you on how to make the connection.

Every beauty in this world is fascination,
This life is given by God with equalization;
Thank you for making me your collection,
I wish next time religion isn’t my justification.

Leave me alone in solemnization,
Go on with your life and obligation;
I’m grateful for your love dedication,
It’s meaningful but I can’t be in your location.

I shall end this poem with a confession,
I love my religion and there’s no alteration;
I can’t give it up just because you loved me with infatuation,
I pray to God that you’ll meet a better one without question.

Marshmallow Kiss

Marshmallow Kiss: Written Originally by Jennifer Soh Li Wen, Idea: 11th September 2011, Sunday (11:08 p.m.), Started Writing on 13th September 2011, Tuesday from 9:32 p.m. to 9:52 p.m.

Verse 1:

Every girl is a flower,
Every bee chooses a flower;
You showed me the love tower,
You showed me the love power.

Chorus:

We’re in the love lift,
Wishing to see;
A sky of dream,
We long to be,
Reaching up the ceiling,
When we started kissing;
Oh baby, it may be a risk,
But I don’t wanna miss your marshmallow kiss.

Verse 2:

Every girl is a color,
Every guy chooses a partner;
You showed me the love shower,
You showed me love isn’t going lower.

Chorus

Verse 3:

Every girl is a candy,
Every guy chooses a sweetie;
You showed me your love shoulder,
You showed me love isn’t going colder.

Chorus

Bridge:

Our love needs no publicity,
No one will know our fantasy;
Behind this closed lift,
No one can see you and me,
Baby, this is reality,
You gave me air to breathe;
I want you to carry me,
For as long as it can be,
Come on, I long for your melting hot… marshmallow kiss.

The Air-What a Pity!

The Air-What a Pity!
Written Originally by Jennifer Soh Li Wen, 7th September 2011, Wednesday, 8:52 a.m.-9:18 a.m.

The air,
Brushes our hair;
It’s always fair,
It has no pair.

The air,
Is ever so tender;
It has no gender,
It’s beyond compare.

The air,
It gives us care;
It teaches us to share,
No such thing as paid.

The air,
Doesn’t mind us saying;
When it’s polluted, dusty, and dirty,
It’s still the air that we breathe.

The air,
Doesn’t blame us;
Even though the sinners are us,
It still enters our bodies.

The air,
Stops us from suffocating;
Allows us to be against gravity,
We really ended up flying.

The air,
We aren’t able to touch;
I’m sure whatever we’ve done,
It keeps saying, “Ouch, ouch, ouch!”

The air,
Is deeply hurt inside;
We keep hitting and burning it side to side,
We think pleasure, yet its feelings we don’t seem to care.

The air,
Tolerating our actions;
Every single move makes it painful,
How dare us to be that careless!

The air,
So much you’ve to bear;
Every single corner you just have to be there,
Without you, everything will have to stare.

The air,
I want to thank you;
For letting me know you,
Since I cried my first tear.

The air,
I understand what you’re going through;
Accepting what men can do,
But we know survival means we’ve got to wear you.

The air,
I love you;
If I don’t breathe you,
I hope others will still do.

The air,
Thank you so much for being there;
It’s truly anytime and anywhere,
You’re so unique, special, and rare.

The air,
I’m very sorry for everything;
Especially on what I’m doing,
I know every second you’re wounding.

The air,
I wish you’ve a name;
So that I can confess,
To the universe that you’re the best!

The air,
I need you in my life;
You’re that priceless,
You keep living things alive.

The air,
Of all your experiences;
Please forgive us,
We keep portraying our weaknesses.

The air,
Please accept my apology;
May you be strong by God’s willing,
What a pity!

The Never Forgotten

The Never Forgotten:
Written Originally by Jennifer Soh Li Wen, 5th September 2011, Monday, 11:13 p.m.-11:47 p.m.

Verse 1:
What do we know about the never forgotten?
Ryan Reynolds as the Green Lantern?
Jennifer Lopez as the Maid in Manhattan?
Or Johnny Depp as the Captain Jack Sparrow in the Pirates of the Caribbean?

Chorus:
Movie business isn’t funny,
It’s an art of creativity;
It takes lots of bravery and misery,
To speak solely to the society,
Moviemaking isn’t easy,
Every script and scene has a mystery;
If any movie is watched by many,
Victory goes to the country.

Verse 2:
What do I know about the never forgotten?
Finding the clown fish, Nemo;
Fighting the orange masked TMNT, Michaelangelo,
What a talent!

Chorus

Verse 3:
What do they know about the never forgotten?
Magneto in X-Men?
Peter Parker in Spider-Man?
Or Tinker Bell in Peter Pan?

Chorus

Verse 4:
What do you know about the never forgotten?
The only one Pink Panther;
The long hair Rapunzel,
What a talent!

Chorus

Bridge:
A fantastic movie,
Will forever touch many;
It’ll be locked in the minds,
Memories of artistic men of all kinds.

Love, Mom

Love, Mom:
Written Originally by Jennifer Soh Li Wen, 31st August 2011, Wednesday, 6:16 p.m.-6:47 p.m. + Some Extra Time Due To Sudden Thoughts and Ideas

My dearest boy,
It’s time to leave your toy;
It’s time to watch Troy,
You’re now bigger than a boy.

Cooking and dishes you must do,
Not to torture you;
Laundry you must do,
To shape the independent you.

If you comprehend what I mean,
I think your mind and body are ready;
Things can be both dirty and clean,
Your hands and legs can make them tidy.

I need to be firm,
For you to learn;
It’s now your turn,
To build your generation.

If you don’t do now,
It’s now or never;
If you don’t know how,
You always have me, your Mother.

I’ll be your good listener,
I’m your best friend, not your Master;
I hope I can ease your burden,
I hope you’ll share your secret.

Being a Mother is a choice,
Your presence makes people rejoice;
I love hearing you voice with poise,
It’s never an additional noise.

Studies you must not neglect,
It’s your responsibility to accept and act;
Being a student is a fact,
Education must always be left intact.

If you feel stressed,
There’s always a way to relax;
We have to have friends,
Choose wisely from Alexis to Alex.

Pressure is forever there,
You don’t have to be scared;
We can enjoy butter and bread,
Firstly, stress we must combat.

It’s okay to cry,
Tears aren’t created to lie;
But be strong after you cry,
It’s worth a try.

When you drown,
Search for the sky;
When you’re down,
Bid your worries goodbye.

Wounds will heal,
Skins will peel;
Snakes change their skins in mute,
For a better and more beautiful life renewed.

Money is showing no possession,
It’s just a number to buy a mansion;
Our income we don’t have to mention,
A quality life is the best satisfaction.

Health is a golden treasure,
We want it good for sure;
My little boy is now mature,
Fitting into the adult posture.

Again, money isn’t everything,
If you ever want or need something;
You may work hard for it,
But only if it’s yours, you’ll get it.

Sometimes there are items which you’ll miss,
Or maybe they will permanently go missing;
No matter what happens, you just have to keep on living,
It’s okay to replace materials of this and this and this.

Whatever your emotional is,
Tell me, please;
So that there for you I can be,
For, honestly, I can’t mind read.

You know no one can replace you,
You know how I keep feeling blue;
I hope you’ll always be true,
Lying is really no good for you.

You may have a girlfriend,
But not so fast;
First, master to defend,
You know, present will be past.

It is never easy to be a human,
As it’s a reality that life is never easy;
I’m sure Dad will introduce you to the world of men,
You’ll realize that the society out there is never easy to please.

Life is a zigzag line,
A super rollercoaster ride;
We don’t have to fight,
For rights are always right.

Life is like fashion,
More like a bicycle;
It keeps on cycling and cycling,
You’ll keep seeing things rolling.

One day you’ll understand,
Whatever I’m doing now is the best;
I’m training you to be a man and to stand,
So that you can solve things whenever you’re messed.

I’m not teaching you to be rough,
Instead I’m teaching you to be tough;
Set any goal or aim or target point where you can reach,
Be reminded that everything has a limit,
You’ll know when enough is enough.

My boy, you’re here not because of me,
I don’t expect you to be like me;
Or to fulfill my childhood dream,
This life is yours to joyfully and freely live.

I love you with all my heart,
It’s more than an expression of art;
It’s closer than the egg with the tart,
Our blood can never ever be apart.

My anger to you is out of love,
My softness to you is out of love;
Today and tomorrow we’re still one,
A family ties for a lifetime.

Someday you’ll be on your own,
I’ll someday leave this world;
You’ve to put on your own coat and fur,
There’s no guarantee on the temperature and weather.

Should you by any chance be against me,
Only God will have a say about it;
As your Mother, I did my best already,
Whenever I’m wrong, I’m so sorry,
I’m just an imperfect lady,
Thank you very much for being my baby;
Thank you very much for calling me, “Mommy”,
Thank you very much for I assume you’ve accepted me for me,
You’re the proof of the love between me and Daddy,
And you should be exceptionally proud of it.

I’ve to pen off now,
I’ll have more messages to come;
Be humble and always bow,
Till next time,
Love, Mom.

P/S: Boy, after reading this piece of advice and words of encouragement, please don’t be numb and afraid. You’re never alone in this world. I’m now playing my part and responsibility as your Mom. Therefore, I’ll be there for you until you achieve your goals. Dream big and be strong. I know you’re definitely a leader of tomorrow. I’ve no intention to change you for only you can change yourself. All I can do is to share with you my experiences when I was at your age. My boy, whatever you’re facing right now, it’s just temporary. Trust me, time will fly and you’ll experience more challenges in life. Everyone goes through the same process, not only you. This is the uniqueness of life and that’s the way we grow up. Take it easy, ok? Welcome to the journey of life. I’ll walk with you for the rest of my life.
