Polluted Mind

Polluted Mind: Originally Written by Jennifer Soh Li Wen, 27th June 2011, Monday, 1:06 p.m.-1:34 p.m.

Facebook says, “What’s on your mind?”

A guy said, “69.” and Utada Hikaru sang, “I’m thinking six and nine.”

Of all these answers I find,

None is one of a kind.

I get out of my bed,

Thinking what’s left;

If all these things trapped in one’s head,

Is this how love is interpreted instead?

Chorus:

Making love,

Is it really out of love?

Don’t be carried away,

If peer pressure gets your way,

Religions teach us not to sin,

So keep your polluted mind clean;

Live within your needs,

Just make yourself green.

If you’re not ready,

Don’t get involved in it;

If it’s not meant to be,

Don’t swim yourself in.

If you’re seduced,

Be strong and wait for cue;

Tell them, “It’s better to go greener and…

Make this world a place better!”

Bridge:

When your mind is green,

Everything becomes pretty.

Missing Piece

Missing Piece: Written Originally by Jennifer Soh Li Wen, 26th June 2011, Sunday, 12:14 a.m.-12:34 a.m.

Verse 1:

It’s running late but I just can’t fall asleep,

My heart keeps asking, “Why am I still in love with him?”

Or should I say, “My mind still thinks of him,”

Of all these years not even a sign of him,

Do you think he still thinks of me?

Or am I just dreaming?

To assume that he still cares for me,

We admitted there’s none after each other,

Could this be another chance to be together?

Chorus:

I realize this is not about faults,

It’s just that we’re not yet adults;

Our love back then meant so damn lot,

Why did it have to rot?

Darling, you are all that I’ve got.

Verse 2:

I’m still looking for a him,

Not sure who he might be;

You torn my heart away and left it a missing piece,

Which you, only you, are able to reach,

You have the right key for it,

I see no other him;

You hurt me before and yet you win,

You are the missing piece that I seek,

Could this be the beginning of our relationship?

Bridge:

Miles I’ve walked,

Faces I’ve seen;

Hearts I’ve touched,

Minds I’ve read,

Nothing can compare to all that,

Especially when I remembered our chat;

Even the cute picture that we had,

Each anniversary I cut it in half,

Honey, can I get it back?

Will you fulfill my missing piece?

The letter I wrote to you – do you still have it?

Your very old photo – does it still smell of me?

If yes, baby, will you marry me?

You’re my fate, my destiny;

And again we can be happy and complete,

My tears keep telling me, “Mix marriage is all we need.”

We Are Meant To Be Together

We Are Meant To Be Together

Written Originally by Jennifer Soh Li Wen, 25th June 2011, Saturday, 1:09 a.m.-1:26 a.m.

We are walking hand in hand,

You shelter me wherever I stand;

Whatever I say you will comprehend,

Oh, I don’t want this moment to end.

We listen to our song,

You make me forget the wrong;

Kissing my lips forever long,

Boy, this feeling I love it strong.

Chorus:

When we are together,

We never cared the rest;

Like this world is ours and we just want the best,

Two hearts loving each other and there is no other,

Needless to say, baby, we are meant to be together.

You take me by the hand and make me wanna dance,

Your body language quickly sways me to romance;

Now we are on our bed and you give me a glance,

Your touch starts crossing borders, baby, you are now over my fence.

You lead me through sexually,

I wanna give you my specialty;

Our love so sweet just like candy,

Baby, you complete my philosophy.

Bridge:

We stay up almost every night,

To see the moon smiling so bright;

You are my source of light,

You make the wrong feel so right.

Ladies, take your seat

Ladies, take your seat: Written Originally by Jennifer Soh Li Wen, 24th June 2011, Friday, 12:24 a.m.-12:42 a.m.

A shout out to all my ladies,

This life isn’t as easy as it seems;

But we don’t go all foolish,

We stand strong in high spirits,

Let our men see how we dance about it.

Chorus:

Ladies, don’t you be afraid,

Just spread up your legs;

Let’s make our men sweat,

We train them how to relax,

Is life just about sex?

It isn’t easy to give but easy to get;

Gotta act sexy to be a good catch,

Ladies, take your seat and make your men beg.

Our bodies all treated like dolls,

Face with make-up and dress against odds;

Men do like it that’s why we show more and more,

But do they want us when we’re off the clock?

Let our men see how we dance about it.

Bridge:

Men, if we’re not sexy anymore,

Do you still want us some more?

If we aren’t flexible anymore,

Do you still want us some more?

Will you give us up someday?

If we someday couldn’t f*ck the same?

Will your love be the same?

If someday any day we age?

My Turn

My Turn: Written Originally by Jennifer Soh Li Wen, 23rd June 2011, Thursday, 7:43 p.m.

It’s ever on my mind,

The first time our eyes met;

You wore a decade year old t-shirt,

I wore my favorite skirt,

You expressed to me,

Your love so sweet;

No, now I can’t rewind history,

Because we’re not meant to be.

Chorus:

When you had me – your eyes kept locking on other girls,

I’m at home waiting for you like a silly puss;

You think you’ve won,

No, boy, no, not the very yet,

Your turn is over,

Now it’s mine;

To feel the world,

With my own naked eyes,

So, don’t you dare to follow me behind,

It’s my turn, alright?

You felt sorry,

I caught you and her doing;

You said you’ll change for me,

Well, I didn’t quite buy it,

When we’re already not meant to be,

Don’t force our love-hate situation;

Don’t ever pretend it never happened,

Let it burn, let it burn,

It’s my turn,

Now tell me how you feel.

Color Code

Color Code: Written Originally by Jennifer Soh Li Wen, 21st June 2011, Tuesday, 11:55 p.m.

Walking by,

On the street;

I hear you talking,

I hope it’s not about me,

You and I,

Different eye to eye;

So don’t you ever,

Ever think,

Of judging me,

Based on my own skin;

I am my own me,

Just let it be.

Chorus:

This life is so colorful,

You and I are so beautiful;

This world is so wonderful,

God’s works are so fruitful.

Right there staring,

What do you see?

No matter what you answer,

Just remember,

To never ever,

Color code me;

I am my own me,

Just let it be.

Bridge: Release me,

I am being me;

My inner beauty,

Outshines me.

Cosmetic Girl

Cosmetic Girl

Originally written by Jennifer Soh Li Wen, 10th June 2011, Friday, 10:56 p.m.

Hey pretty girl

Won’t you take a good look at me?

Tell me what you see, yeah

Making your self-esteem lower than anybody

Why does this have to be?

Chorus:

All your money, all your time

Thinking about your make up

And yet you’re blind

Colors come, colors go

Do you have to be?

A cosmetic girl

Do you want to be?

A cosmetic girl

Never forget

Who you are

You’re as perfect and you never knew that

Temporary cosmetic

What a waste of energy

Listen to me; just be comfortable with your own skin

(Chorus)

Hey pretty girl, won’t you take a break from cosmetic?
